Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Drill Helper to support drilling operations in a remote setting. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically fit, and able to work long hours in challenging environmental conditions while supporting the drill crew and lead driller.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the driller with daily drilling operations
• Handle drill rods, tools, casing, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized drill site
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on drilling equipment
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and site regulations
• Support mobilization and demobilization of equipment
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous drilling or related field experience preferred (wage increases with experience)
• Ability to work in remote locations for extended rotations
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license (asset)
• First Aid, H2S, or other safety certifications (asset, training may be provided)
