Here is an exciting opportunity with our global leading Oil and Gas client in Saudi Arabia as an Exploration Geologist. You will have a chance to be part of the team that is directly responsible for the identification and evaluation of Unconventional Resources! This opportunity offers top compensation rates as well as technical, professional, and industrial development. The qualified individual should have the desire to integrate regional to field-scale geological studies, correlate stratigraphic units, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to predict and identify prospective opportunities. Moreover, the division also compliments existing asset teams with ongoing appraisals and field development plans. Job duties: • Be experienced with Unconventional exploration programs. • Take part in proposing, defending, and planning exploration wells while working with larger teams. • Be responsible for documenting and sharing work through cross-sections, maps, histograms, etc. • Study and assess practices in place and identify effective opportunities for improvements. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related science • 15-20 years of experience in conventional/unconventional exploration required • Experience in mapping and evaluating Petroleum Systems • Can generate depositional models, and integrate input from core description, seismic interpretation, lab measurements, and logs to guide and refine the geological understanding.
