Exploration Geologist (Full-Time)
Location: Quesnel, British Columbia (Cariboo Region)

Barin Mineral Inc. is a BC-based exploration and geological services company focused on supporting mineral exploration programs in the Cariboo region, with an emphasis on copper-molybdenum porphyry systems in the Quesnel Terrane.
We are seeking a full-time Exploration Geologist to join our team and contribute to both client-based projects and internally driven exploration programs on company-held mineral claims.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field geological mapping, soil and rock sampling, and geological traverses
• Execute exploration programs on client and company-owned mineral claims
• Collect, manage, and QA/QC geochemical and geophysical datasets
• Perform GIS analysis, geological interpretation, and map production
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports (NI 43-101 standard)
• Support exploration program planning and field logistics
• Maintain strict adherence to WorkSafeBC health and safety standards, including remote field protocols
• Contribute to data management, reporting, and internal exploration initiatives
Qualifications:
• BSc in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of field experience in hard rock mineral exploration (BC experience preferred)
• Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Geo. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
• Demonstrated experience in geological mapping, sampling programs, and field data collection
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS or equivalent)
• Familiarity with BC Notice of Work permitting and exploration regulations
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and ability to work in remote field environments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with porphyry copper-molybdenum systems or intrusion-related deposits
• Familiarity with Leapfrog Geo, Geosoft Oasis Montaj, or similar modelling software
• Experience contributing to NI 43-101 technical reports
• Experience working in regions with First Nations consultation requirements
• Experience using handheld XRF analyzers and interpreting field geochemical data
